Hello World! This is my very first post of OS Ground. My domain name is not ready yet, so currently hosted at Blogger. Anyway, let me start a little short description about this site I’m going to do for this moment.
Basically, OS means Operating Systems and Ground represent the place to play around. As I just gotten my White 1.83GHz Macbook Intel Core Duo a few weeks back, I’ve been toying around all the 3 platform with this little sexy machine. Mac OS X 10.4, Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP 2 and Ubuntu Linux, where all these are my favourite platforms and I’m planning to stick with Mac OS (Now) and Ubuntu (Soon). Microsoft Windows had gave me a big headache ever since I get myself into Ubuntu for the first time and Mac OS as well. Anyway, I will try to cover as much Microsoft Windows as possible in here too.
I also owed an old Pentium 600MHz laptop and planning to build Xubuntu Linux on it as soon as I got myself back to my hometown. Currently I’m with Macbook and thanks to my girl friend who allowed me to toy with her Acer Travelmate 4050 series as well. So at this moment, I might cover Mac OS X and Windows XP Pro.
That’s all I can tell now…
Update: After a few hours the domain name finaly works. Because… I setted a wrong name server. And my domain registar having some Database issue so I have to wait them to solve it. What the heck!? Setted wrong name server…
