Overall Macbook Design
This is probably my first Macbook review on my own. Let’s start with the overall design it has. White is the main colour for Apple Inc. for a long period, most of their product still coming out white colour, beside iPod Nano which has a lot of colour choices and Macbook black edition, which is too expensive for me and nonetheless the latest iPhone going black as well.
Macbook Keyboard
The keyboard seems to be dirty quite easily, cause you’ll never know the little dirt that you can’t see with your naked-eyes could cause it to be gray colour though. Well, I just clean it up with my iDrop for the first time since 3 months ago.
Macbook Left Side
Every plug were designed to be on the left side of the laptop. Power adapter, ethernet, monitor adapter etc. It makes the whole design to be, clean. That’s what I love about it. Nothing fancy were implemented on it, unlike other laptops which they like to build those on the back. But the point is, this Macbook’s LCD can’t open more than 120 degrees compare to others which can go until 180 degrees.
Macbook Right Side
On the right side of it, it has only one open-line for the cd rom. Mine was combo drive (DVD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW), which is quite sad. I mean most of the laptop these days built with combo drive (DVD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RW). Well, super drive cost me more though, weird stuff… No, I mean, stingy!
Macbook Remote
Macbook came with a remote control. Very sleek design, at first sight, I thought it was iPod Nano, but no… I’m buying a Macbook. This remote is a very useful add on for sure, I can actually watching DVD on a far destine and control without the mouse or touchpad. The thing is, the software that this remote support was meaningless to me.
Macbook Wide Screen Movie
Overall, my Macbook is 13.3 inch wide screen. Not only it can watch a nice wide screen movie, the expose looks nicer and can expose more applications too ;)
Macbook Aplpications Expose
Do we have enough the good thing about Macbook? I guess so, let’s go to the bad point of this Macbook built on the 36th week of 2006. First the most important thing or the most talk-about thing about Macbook is the heating problem. I think the first batch of Macbook was designed for those who didn’t use heavy applications. I notice that when I start using too much applications or heavy applications like Adobe softwares, it goes really hot and the fan start making noise, a loud one. But when I online and doing some typing, it didn’t get any heat up. Adobe Photoshop CS1 and CS2 were the applications that tease the fan up really fast! So beware for those designers who use a lot of this application.

Secondly, I would like to go for the softwares it has originally. I have a 60GB hard drive, the factory setting and all the built in softwares took me 28GB of space! So I re-install the whole machine the second day I had my Macbook eventhough it was my first time using Mac OS. iLife was a bunch of shitty applications for those who are free to play with their photos and videos. Come on, we’re all moving the fast lane these days Jobs. Front-Row is another useless cunt to built on it, actually I can control it on the desktop with the remote as well, and since I don’t have iLife stuff (iMovie and iDVD).

Still I recommend those who use computer to online and do typing only people to get this sleek baby. Remember, you don’t have to worry about Virus, Spyware or Trojan shits. Now, when it doesn’t need to worry about those, that’s what I called a safety online device. Don’t tell me too much about WinXP these days, I’m really really sick of the viruses and all the re-format thingy…
