To Update Or Not

Just saw the update when I was at the office. But I did not update my own one or office one. My office Mac running Mac OS X 10.3.9 only, so I don’t think it’s necessary for them to update :P It run well for me though. I didn’t update it is because I wanted to do some research before putting my head into trouble, I can’t afford any trouble these days, too many OT to go for.
Mac OSX 10.4.9 Update
Ok, cut the crap come to the topic. So I logged into the discussion in Apple website to make it it’s save to update, and end up… No good, so no update now. It cost 100MB some more, I don’t want to waste time reinstalling my Mac OS X just because the 100MB.

Come to think about it, Mac OS X works somewhat like a Microsoft Windows these days. They can’t really give a proper and dependable update. The Security 2007 - 002 already screwing up a lot of people in the discussion and now it come to the main update of OS. Yes, I stop update and do research before update is all because of that screwed update by Apple Inc. What is the different with Microsoft Windows? Day after day the complaint (Or a better word called “help”) been adding non-stop to the dicussion.

Microsoft Windows’ updates were more reliable, at least it works ALL the time. But for Mac update, sometimes it cause the user to reinstall the whole OS, and worst some of them did not ready the backup, who fuck up their users now? I dare saying it’s Mac.

After thinking twice on this matter and analyze it, most of this problem occurs on Intel-based Mac. Heh… This obviously tells me that Apple technicians were all too new to this chip…
