One million Sold

Yesterday, just 74 days after its introduction on June 29, Apple sold the one millionth iPhone. “One million iPhones in 74 days - it took almost two years to achieve this milestone with iPod,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We can’t wait to get this revolutionary product into the hands of even more customers this holiday season.”

Pretty good job there I have to say. Ok, let’s go to marketing now… As I’m an advertisement student, I can say, the teaser works really well here. With the help from GetAMac tv commercial, Apple product became something so-called “better” for people who viewed them. Putting out iPhone with a long teaser/rumor is a great idea to attract people.

With this achievement, I’m pretty sure the rest of Apple’s product will work pretty good in selling, let’s wait and see how iPod Touch work out…
