Everyone knows that if you were connected to internet, your computer will have a higher chance for being infected by virus. Besides that, flash drive is one of the storage devices that is easily infected and brings the virus to our computer. My friend’s computer is affected by this worm that use the autorun feature, whenever we plug in the removable device it will autorun too. One of the obvious signs is when you open “my computer” and click on the drive c or others folders, it will open in a new window eventhough the setting is to open the folder in the same window. AVG free edition did a very good job. It caught that worm as Worm/Small.2.D with the path AUTORUN.INF and Worm/Generic.BZN with the path Thumbs.db.com, in drive c, d and e. It’s better to turn off autorun for removable device in your computer.
