Skitch Beta
It’s a really good morning today, I was greeted but this email telling me I’m qualified for Skitch beta release, without wasting anytime, I took off 3 minutes to register myself before I went to brush my teeth LOL! It’s been a month I’m waiting for this application, which now I can tell it’s the BEST application for blogger like me. For your information, all the images here are cropped and resize in Skitch beta, each of them took less than 2 minutes.
There are help information all around it when the cursor stop-by. Very simple. Oh… Did I mention it only took 20MB memory in the whole process?
Let’s start off with the most simplest function, the screenshot or print screen for Windows’ users. This one can’t beat the original Mac application: grab though. It limited to the surface, but grab can actually take screenshot of background only too. Nevertheless, this is a thing that Windows can’t do LOL! Ok, I shouldn’t have bash any operating system here. Oh… Did you notice the top right, beside the temperature and fan speed? That’s where Skitch minimized 
This resize is oh-my-God easy. All I did is resize the whole windows, that’s all! On the bottom right, there is the size of the image, after resized, drag the image from the “Drag Me” button on the bottom there, simple and sweet.
At first I was smuggling to look for the cropping function, but I couldn’t find any until, I saw the dotted outline when my cursor stopped at the edge of the image. Depend what you want to do with your images, for me, resizing doesn’t take more than 3 clicks!!!
So, speaking of image quality it will give, it’s all depend on you too. All my images here were set on “High Quality - 60%” actually 
Simple too eh?
I can’t help but fall in love with this application, now everytime I blog, I don’t have to open my Photoshop which going to consume more than 200MB of my memory! 22.4MB application that can help me save my time and my computer resources, I have to say, the BEST application ever in my Macbook now
P/S: Just so you know, I have 2 invitation to this beta, if you want one, email me or leave a comment here. Skitch beta only available for Mac in Universal code, so Windows users… I suggest EasyPic which is also a good software too.
