Opera Mini Testing

Now blogging through my Sony Ericsson P990i by using Opera Mini. Everything is fine, I cannot upload any screenshot yet. Not sure if this is the browser matter or the phone itself.

Anyway, comparing the default P990i browser with Opera Mini (Although the default browser was distributed by Opera as well), Opera Mini support more, for example the full size screen of a webpage. Clicking an area will zoom in the particular area. So far so good, have not see any crash down on the browser or the phone, for your information, the default browser will crash on the phone and hang the whole browser too.

Will update more on screenshots soon.

Update:
Opera Mini fullscreenOpera Mini zoom
With 2.8 inch large screen, zoom in is more than enough to browse around. Unlike the default browser which shrunk everything into one small page…
P990i default browser
Heh… It was funny when my friend asked me what is so interesting online from a small screen on the mobile phone, my answer was, even a small little Ogio golf ball, people would be happily when hitting the ball for one whole afternoon, why I can’t enjoy a tiny thing from time to time ;)

It’s great to hear that Opera Mini is treating you well.

The next version of Opera Mobile (which I’m assuming is the default browser on your phone) will also have the full page view with the cool zooming. It will be part of the Opera Mobile 9.5 update.
