XP will hit an end-of-life. We have announced one. If customer feedback varies, we can always wake up smarter, but right now, we have a plan for end-of-life for new XP shipments.

Heh, it also stated this “Microsoft does plan to continue selling Windows XP for a limited class of PCs it calls ultralow-cost PCs.” I think it’s the recent US value dropping that makes Steve Ballmer think otherwise? He must be too much on drug when announcing Windows Vista! After the drug rehab trip, he should know that XP is more preferable by the consumers. But why it is classing the PC class? XP is an OS that suitable for old PC ad new PC too. I like XP for what is has, the friendly interface and all the like, I used XP for years, and Vista? Sorry, honestly I rarely see any Vista available here, as I mentioned before, even computer salesman doesn’t support me to install Vista but XP. Go XP! Keep the dinosaur
