The small things everybody using

Contact lenses becoming so common nowadays, that my wife also have a few back up packet ready for use. However, with fashion also coming into the lenses, it become more widely used, even those with good eye-sight.

People rather get a cheap prescription glasses and place it in the room, and then use a contact lenses that can help their pupil looks bigger!

Contact lenses

And yet, colorful. That my friend, is a fashion I have no idea about…

Small things that counts

While I was in a gym the other day, with all sort of common gym machine like ellipticals, some dumbbell and etc. I saw a few thing happening as well.

Devices

Electronic devices has become so common that almost everyone owns a few, not just one. A laptop, or perhaps a desktop PC, it is almost a must in every house hold. Then we have small devices that multi functions as a phone, a mp3 player, camera, voice recorder, you name it. That we call it as mobile phone, or iPhone. Lastly, the almost extincted device, mp3 player, a very common device for people who do the same thing and don’t talk much daily :)

We started to depend on the electronic device more and more. Are we going to be controlled by electronic???

Re-brand open source?

So, you are developing an open source script for a client, say WordPress. Then you figure, maybe you should add some branding of your own, at the same time, leave credit back to the WordPress for its engine.

By the time you thought you have done with the project, 2 weeks later, your client comes back and asked “How do I add another page from the system?“. You client thought that the whole WordPress system are designed and developed by you.

WordPress login custom logo

It may sound impossible, but it did happen. I as a web designer and developer, WordPress is my specialty and I recommend it to all my client. The thing is, I need to treat them as a layman, who know nothing about web, script, PHP, HTML or CSS.

In layman term, when you explain CMS system to them, they thought it is a system to easily update and built by you. Open source is not in their dictionary not to mention WordPress.

I normally write a short tutorial for them or personally online and teach them step by step. That is the risk and time you need to spend if you’re talking to some layman.

Back from Holiday

Sculptures

Again, this time round it is actually a honeymoon to Bali :) Glad to have an open eye into another totally different location. I started to love all those sculptures :)

Sculptures

After the long gone of 10 days, without a laptop access, I felt refreshed and more productive I guess. Though I have yet to start any heavy work today, but I do feel more energetic than never before. It is good to have some rest for some times. These 10 days, beside eat, sleep, walk I can’t think of anything else I did. A good bottle of phentermine definitely gonna help my diet now.

Sculptures

We are now more focus onto the work and the marketing plan. We did not manage to catch up with the WordCamp this year, probably next year, we are definitely joining the event ;)

Awesomeness 3D Desktop

This is the most awesomeness 3D desktop I’ve ever seen. Well, actually I saw it back few years, but did not bother about it and ended up forgot about it, until recently…

Google bought it over!

Yes, Google is interested on the technology and I am seeing something new feature in Google Chrome OS?
