So you know it’s coming

Google has finally announce that they’re into mobile phone now. The rumor about GPhone has been around after the almighty Apple iPhone released as well as the development of Android OS for mobile phone end of 2007.

With the codename “Dream”, it seems like Google still maintain the branding they have all this while. However, Google is partnering with HTC from Taiwan. I was expecting Google to use some China brand though. Ever since China-made mobile phone has been around for quite some times and the selling is always on top of any other brand in the market.

Good thing? Apple iPhone will have a lot more improvement to go, which I’m sure a lot of Apple fans out there yelling for some changes of Apple iPhone. I forgot where I surf some blogger listed a few point that Apple iPhone should improve. You know Google well, they’re listen to the customer very well.

Let me check what Google have in their hand now…
1, Blogger.com - Everyone love this and using this ain’t it?
2, Picasa - Can’t say too many people using it, but they are a large number too.
3, Map - Ar! That’s what I used the most when I’m about to go somewhere new.
4, Chrome - What can I say? The most talked topic recently.
5, SketchUp - I honestly see a few 3D multimedia designer using them, no shit!

I wonder what they can come out after mobile phone Come out some insurance and blow up the whole auto insurance comparison chart from all the internet? I mean, everything is possible when it’s Google

New SiteMeter

For some of you out there, you might know that SiteMeter has migrated to a new server and updated their service or I should say interface. I went into the new SiteMeter as soon as the service is up. And get my account migrate into the new account, worse thing is, it is now require unique email account for each account created.

The whole traffic stat is now shows in flash, which load very slow in my opinion, or maybe it’s my connection problem. Whichever it is, SiteMeter should have check into this matter before updating to flash. I like the “fresh” SiteMeter gave, but don’t like this…

It’s all about scrolling. Why isn’t they use back the old school plain text? It load so fast, and is much more easier to read Overall, the improvement make no changes in service, just slow down of loading speed and better interface…

Adobe CS onto Linux

Adobe could port its Creative Suite…to Linux as a shot across Redmond’s bow. Then the company should embrace Linux in-house and develop a complete, optimized Linux OS designed to run a high-performance version of its Creative Suite on Linux optimized for Adobe products, to be sold as a bootable bundle for multicore-workstation hardware. Some said that Adobe coming into Linux The operating system that I would really like to stick with for a long time. Due to the limitation of graphic related software, I can’t help but “downgrade” to PC and Mac Well, I don’t think implementing Adobe into Linux is that hard though, remember MAc is also Linux-based and running very smooth with Adobe. I’m pretty sure if Adobe manage to do it, I’ll also be one of the first person convert to Linux and have my day in crib bedding

Maybe I used to Ubuntu, who cares about others, it always my choice when it comes to Linux. Sure I’ll be more relax using Ubuntu even compare to Mac, I shit you not! Unless, technical issue

Learn to code WP theme

Recently I wrote a very simple yet easy to understand on how to code Wordpress theme. at SimplyWP. I don’t write the common how-to on the tutorial though, because I believe for a starter (Maybe for me) to know how to code is to guide them to use CSS first. This is my experience;

I used to code HTML table with lots of CSS, and no DIV at all, because I can’t catch the DIV function. That stop me from coding a Wordpress theme a year back. Until recently I picked up time to get more tutorial on DIV thingy and XHTML, I manage to come out some simple structured Wordpress theme. Previously when one told me about using DIV, it really does turn me down. So I was thinking and did some research as well, there’re a lot of webmaster know how to use CSS, but just don’t know how to use DIV yet. That’s why my Wordpress coding is based on CSS.

I know it’s late to blog that I know how to code Wordpress theme when Wordpress has been around for decade Anyway, that is still how I gain the knowledge in coding website, give lots of Fenphedra to gain the weight, the size of my brain

It’s about Dropbox

Header of Dropbox before? I was before, few days ago, Dropbox sent me an email telling me that I can register for the beta now

Dropbox is similar to box.net but in a more advance way. Dropbox allow me to “drop” my files in a folder and it will automatically upload it into the space they provided, which is only 2GB I didn’t find any bandwidth statement though.

I get to install one small application that allow me to quickly access to the Dropbox folder. However, this can’t be disable on startup, I’m still looking a way to do so.

Dropbox folder is just like the normal window, but it on Mac or PC. So it give me more convenient on uploading my stuff onto the server. Unlike all other storage on the internet. This is one innovation that I’ll be loving for!
