Ubuntu On Transparency
After the release of Ubuntu 7.10, Ubuntu team announcing their next release Ubuntu 8.04, which I was quite surprise with the interface…

Everyone is jumping into this “transparency” boat now, Microsoft was first to release this full transparency interface, while Apple released some transparency interface years ago, and now the Mac OSX Leopard has more improvement on the transparency.
So, it’s the “transparency” age now? Or this is a need of consumer, so everyone should follow up and built something transparency? I’m still thinking about the graphic support though, Windows Vista require a high-end graphic card to support their interface, while Mac OSX Leopard need a mid-end graphic card, and how about Ubuntu? They was targeting those who are using a low-end machine… Does those transparency really low-ended? Let’s prepare Technomarine watch and wait until Ubuntu release the newer version.

It’s common that more and more internet users are starting to download movies over the internet with either P2P and BT. For Malaysia users, BT is very slow as you can notice too, because our Streamyx is on their way preventing the BT users from using too much of their bandwidth resources. But no worry, if you’re just downloading movies (Which include anime as well I guess), you can try Miro.
Although it’s still on BETA stage, but it’s working fine for me. Been using for 2 days downloading clips over YouTube and DailyMotion, it works fantastic here. Although for the series I’ll have to look for their “part” LOL!
It has a limited download sources though. YouTube, Google Video, Blogdigger, Revver, DailyMotion, Yahoo!, blip.tv, Yahoo! video and Mefeedia. I have to warn you, downloading a full 1+ hours movie need a few part ok? Since all the video uploader site only allow limited time for each video uploaded.
The best thing is Miro has all the major operating system release, to be precise, they have Windows version, Mac version, Linux version which included as well Fedora version, Ubuntu version, Debian version (And I thought Ubuntu and Debian should be one version?) and surprisingly a Gentoo version as well.
So doesn’t matter which kind of operating system you’re using, you can download this sleek software

Choose Linux
Nothing to do today, and I have no idea what to post, because I’ve been taking a long rest these days for one, not touching any computer beside my office’s computer. Two, have a great time together with my partner and spend the evening with my partner. So while we’re talking something about computer, I came out this…
Just when Apple keep attacking Windows…
I think someone is happy with the result, erm… Not happy, but just waiit to see some result.
Time to choose Linux…
My two cent: I just don’t get it, why Apple must attack Windows non-stop all this while and Windows user attack back Apple stupidly? Microsoft cooperate keep the gentlemen branding by ignore all those fault fact by Apple, and Apple going over and over to step on the Microsoft head for fun. And all the Windows users start making noise what good in Windows and what bad in Apple, I mean they are just an OS created by human used by human, they are brainless. And so sudden all the people around the internet showing me they are brainless and the OS has a brain to compare…
Ubuntu 7.04 Beta
Finally it’s here. I’ve been waiting for this version instead of 6.10
I heard too much about 6.10 and it doesn’t work at my home’s connection. This version named Ubuntu FeistyFawn is the most user-friendly Ubuntu to date and includes a ground-breaking Windows migration assistant, excellent wireless networking support and improved multimedia support.
P/S:Note: This is still an beta release. Do not install it on production machines. The final stable version will be released in April 2007.
I’m still with 6.06 I’m definitely go for the upgrade on April ![]()
Mac OX Leopard

I don’t mean to flame or what, but talking about Mac OS next release Mac OS X Leopard, it did impress me after a few sneak peak at Apple website. But something do bother me though, the Spaces one of the new feature in Leopard.
If I can recall back my memory to the time when I was still with Ubuntu Linux, I think I saw something similar before, the Ubuntu Workspaces. Now, who copy who? As usual, I’ll look for who is the first creator.
Well, I can’t exactly says it’s copy though, as Mac OS X Leopard had added some nice eye-candy and innovation onto the feature. Honestly after a while using Mac, I feel that all Mac can offer were eye-candying the consumers. Applications do crash as it’s application, like WinXP. But WinXP goes deeper into blue death screen sometimes and Mac don’t…
