Turn on your speaker, doesn’t matter you like it or not, but I’ll have to say, this is a nice song :P But it’s honestly not suitable for Microsoft, but anyway, it’s good to see how Microsoft trying to change customers’ perception, very young, very good, very… Apple  Get your acne treatments idiot, work it out on Vista, if Vista is as good as mentioned, Dell wouldn’t support XP until 2012!!! To tell you the truth, there are a couple of computer technician and salesmen whom I asked about installing Vista on a machine, they all recommended me not to install at this moment, hmm…. How long has Vista been around? January 2007?

Vista Beat Mac

Apr

Come across with a very interesting article at ComputerWorld about Five reasons why Vista beat Mac OSx, the five reasons are:
1, Vista runs more software
Obviously, if Vista do another few more upgrade :P But it’s truth that everyone who use Mac has the difficulty on finding the right software, instead of using the same software as Vista, Mac users tend to look for alternative software that run on Mac machine.

2, Vista is safer
I got no comment on this one. I don’t know about you, but since I’m with Windows XP for a shit long time, I didn’t get any virus/spyware from the internet, instead I got them from friend’s thumb drive.

3, It’s the money, stupid
Correct, with the design and cult/community that Apple builded, it’s undeniable that Apple tried to do their business on certain target only. I mean, my Macbook cost me a sky high RM4400 when I can get a better spec with RM3500 on the time I purchase my Macbook, it’s almost RM1000 more than any other laptop on the market.

4, The Mac is closed; Vista is open
Yeap, like the quote on previous post. Mac don’t like their product to leak out to any other third party. And because Vista is open, that’s why they tend to look into the grey area of Vista agreement and attack that part by letting people to install Vista on their expensive machine when people can actually get a machine that is much more affordable.

And what?

eeePC

2, 512MB DDR2 RAM
3, Like usual 7? WVGA TFT-LCD widescreen display
4, Still the small 4GB hard drive
5, This time round, they have the almighty “Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition” :D

Now, driving around with this Windows XP made more easier. Remember to get your auto insurance quote first

More Windows Application From Apple

Jan

I was looking for a AV chatting in between Windows and Apple, well, it’s because my girl friend are using Windows :( To get to look at each other, we’ll have to either use Windows together or Apple. I’ve been trying to use iChat (GTalk) to video conference with her but it doesn’t work :( Except to wait for the newer version of Mac:Messenger from Mactopia, which I presume it’s another long wait, this however makes me look into Apple application development.
Apple to Windows applications
First it was Apple QuickTime for Windows, but from my hearing, most people (Windows users)don’t like QuickTime, first, it works like a spam, turned on when Windows started without warning. Second, the resolution wasn’t as good as it promised (Which I don’t think so :P)

Second it was iTunes, with the combination of their iPod lines, iTunes was widely used by Windows users who owned an iPod  It was the hardwork of iPod though… It’s like TuitionWise student loans, without the tuition, there isn’t any loan, with loan there is interest to earn  Everything linked. Thirdly, happened recently, the Safari browser, the so-called fastest browser and crashed a lot on me :(

Now, when will iChat be available for Windows user? Better be fast before the newer version of MSN for Mac comes out and replace the opportunity of iChat to shine in Windows machine ;)

Step By Step

Dec

Microsoft love step by step guide, and Apple love 2 steps guide. Which one I prefer? I prefer one that in *.zip file better :P Because I get to use it right away. Well, that is also most Mac applications did, “Drag and drop; You are done” as I called.
Step by step
Microsoft, one that scare a lot about piracy, also one that will do whatever it takes to cut down the piracy but never success on it  Anyway, I’ve just get my Macbook clean install Mac OSX 10.4.6, to test the heat problem, I know I’m stupid, I should have call this blog as a Macbook-heat-testing blog instead

Well, it doesn’t go well though, the heat is still the same staying at 50 degree celsius, which for me it’s consider the most average and the most cool it can get when turning and “multi” tasking the common thing like Microsoft Word, Safari, Messenger, iTunes and Quicktime.
