Intel Don’t Want Vista

Haha! This would be one of the greatest news and evidence to Microsoft that their latest operating system, Windows Vista is nothing but a light ostrich feathers.

“This isn’t a matter of dissing Microsoft, but Intel information technology staff just found no compelling case for adopting Vista,”

Vista is just a cover for Windows XP like all the users said. As for me, I don’t have much experience with Vista yet, just a day or two, and I probably didn’t really explore the whole Vista itself, but I did tested the eye-candy graphic Vista has and the smoothness comparing it with Windows XP. However, I believe that Windows XP is more user friendly though, especially the window explorer. In Vista, they tried to built everything in the sidebar like Mac OSX Leopard, which is… Stupid. Let’s just stick with Windows XP first and see what Window 7 can do.

P/S: January 2010 is the launching of Windows 7 as they stated. Let’s see how much longer they need to launch one operating system again

I was almost scammed off by this almost real PayPal site. The email was sent like this:

My first reaction was panicked, because all my online revenue was from PayPal, so if my PayPal got limited I’m death soon. On the other hand, I looked into the name they called me was totally wrong though. Remember, PayPal NEVER use “Dear PayPal account holder”, they have our information and our name on their database. Anyway, this scammer was clever enough to use almost the exact same URL address…

Logitech V470 Review

Well, first and foremost, I didn’t test it on PC, so no PC type of review Sorry, but it’s a big hassle to install the driver, looks for a bluetooth adapter and etc. So I’ll just make it short on my Macbook only.

Anyway, my Macbook now looking cleaner without all the annoying wires, there are only the magnetic plug nothing else. The mouse works on normal surface only by the way, this laser mouse doesn’t work on glossy surface, I was with glass surface on the table but it doesn’t work, so I have to pull another mousepad for it.

As I mentioned on my previous post that this mouse works so fast and fine with the Macbook, so my setting is way low, I can’t actually set it on the first one only, as it resulting not moving at all. Well, have to get use to it sooner or later, it’s just unlike the normal optical mouse nor my previous 3D mouse though.

Most of all, my Macbook has lesser plug at the moment, I still have an external keyboard My table gonna look just have had it Phentermine pill, slimming down with all the wires I’m loving this wireless technology of course! My Sony Ericsson P990i always bluetooth pairing with my Macbook whenever I transfer stuff in between them too.

Bluetooth Laser Mouse

Recently my girl friend bought this bluetooth mouse for me This Logitech V470 bluetooth mouse is just sweet! Luckily there was this white color one instead of the ugly blue. It’s totally match my Macbook.

Anyway, due to the reason that it is laser base, so the motion is way faster than when I’m using normal optical mouse or even the previous 3D mouse. Will post more about the review soon, so far I’m with PC instead Anyway, this mouse only costed USD50 (RM160), according to my research on Malaysia market, they’re selling this at a sky high RM190+ price, still worth my flight deals to Indonesia here!

New Look

All antivirus tools are not perfect, they miss things or can be purposefully damaged. Here are some free tools that help you supercharge your AV utility and keep your Windows computer clean. Of course not all PC has a metal roofing, I don’t think Firefox can help on preventing when online too (Well, maybe on surfing the web).

BitDefender Online Scanner is a web application (requires Internet Explorer) that scans your system’s memory and all files, detecting and removing infections. Perfect to check if you regular antivirus app missed a malware infection. Also I recommend ThreatFire Free. ThreatFire is a free download that supplements (now don’t go deleting your AV engine just yet) your regular antivirus program. It’s cool because it has “behavioral-analysis protection” that basically attempts to identify Trojan horses and other malware based on how your PC operates. Those with “slowing” computer may want to check this out!

Ready For FireFox 3

And it’s finally here, the record were ready to be break, the site is full of traffic, the site is now hard to access, the FireFox 3 download day is today, starting right now! But the site is not complete yet though

They’re updating the site bit by bit, trust me, refresh a few times and you’ll see the differences, somehow, it’s not encourage to do so though Anyway, let’s just wait for another few more hours, or else the site will surely packed!

Is FireFox going to take over Internet Explorer? I used to think that it won’t because Internet Explorer users are way too much, as most people these days has no idea about browser, for them, Internet Explorer = Internet, done! Well, I checked into the cPanel and saw something quite surprising though…

How ironic it is? FireFox 3 haven’t yet to release, and it already taking the first place. Anyway, I for one who has been using Firefox for years and only testing my webpage coding only will I use Internet Explorer, sound like I don’t even need to test Internet Explorer is FireFox take over the first place on the web Tomorrow FireFox 3 will be officially launch tomorrow Yes this is going to scare Internet Explorer (Microsoft) to a side Steve Ballmer gonna need some incontinence supplies before the launching I’m sure it is gonna be a great hit on Internet Explorer.

Singapore And Online

Currently I’m in Singapore having a study trip, due to some circumstances, I didn’t follow the study group today, instead, I’m staying at my friend’s home watching movie playing games and online like now I never thought the study trip was so boring, beside listening to people talk, it’s walking, never stop walking.

Staying in a room, a small masterbedroom I presume, is soooo boring too, but it’s not as boring as now, since I can blog and I can chat Just want to have fun. Sigh, due to the limitation of the home furniture, I can’t actually sit comfortably. Now, I’m sitting on the bed, with a small TV table lower than my knee, bend down my waist, just to get to type. Damn~! Well, nonetheless, the connection here is SWEET! 7MBps is just so fun to use!

The Extra

It is good to have an extra CAT5e ethernet line in my room, my friend came to my house the other day. I as always used the wireless, because I don’t want the lightning burn out my laptop. Anyway, sharing is not caring when it comes to internet connection, why? Because people freaking download all the shit at the same time! My line was god-damn-slow after he plugged in the ethernet line

There was some storming internet business running here in Malaysia recently, more and more ISPs coming out with USB modem which is VERY portable, which also one of my favorite at this moment, according to my understanding of all these ISPs, none of them can give a stable connection yet, read: stable, not speed I’m talking about here. I just don’t like unstable connection, slow is fine for me though, but unstable and you dare open business, I would feel like being cheated…

Firefox 3

Finally changed my browser, I’ve totally in love with Mozilla Firefox 3 now It’s just soooo smooth using Firefox 3 in my Mac even compare with Safari. Now, if you’re also a Mac user and you have a lot of bookmark, try open Safari for the first time, and click on the Bookmark button, I’m sure there will be some lagging on Safari, Firefox 3 don’t do that, which is one of the reason I’m in love with it.

I love the overall design of Firefox 3, it totally integrated Mac OSX design with it, although I’m with Tiger, the design of Firefox 3 are based on Leopard though, anyway, what I like is the icons

Look at that, not only this helps me on the overall feel of Firefox 3 and imagine myself on Leopard :lol:, the address bar is just awesome! There are also web title built in together with web url when I’m type something. This could be the best intangible best wrinkle cream for me, I used to have this trouble looking for my history but cannot find what i browsed before. Now there is TITLE, freaking title on every history I’ve browsed.

So, let’s together make a world record for Firefox! All you have to do is get Firefox 3 during Download Day to help set the record for most software downloads in 24 hours! Well, you can also download here!

A few of my friend came to me asking a few things recently, and these few people become more and more in the end of the day, and I suggest the rest of them… Google if not books. It’s pretty simple to use Google, honestly, here are the list of site that I used when looking for something…

Search Google
Not that hard, there are a few trick I used only, although there are tons of trick to search in Google. “google” Quotation mark, it’s to make sure Google search EXACTLY the same phrase I’ve entered. Or site:www.osground.com google, this only used on the site who are so freaking idiot and so desperate for members so they don’t want to give any search function until you join them.

Archive
Archive.org also one of the best website archive on the internet, compare to Google cache which only shows you archive of a few months back ONLY. I used to go to archive.org a lot to see my previous site and etc But it’s not something that good to use on daily basic though
