Windows Media Play and Apple iTunes
A lot of Windows user got conned by WMP himself, that’s why they tend to download iTunes for their daily music use. They are actually the same, in fact, WMP has something that iTunes don’t have. Ok, WMP doesn’t have coverflow, but that’s for eye candy, how many times you actually looking at it anyway?

A lot of people telling me that in iTunes, the library is easier to use, iTunes helps you to maintain all the music files and listed them in the library. Just for your information, iTunes arrange the music file according to folder and more folder from Album folder to Artist folder to Grenes folder and all about folder. In WMP, there’s actually library as well. Just dump all your music file in there, the library won’t create any folder, it will cache the files themselves on your favorite folder.

WMP has a nice interface on showing tracks, vizualization and lyrics at the same time. Unlike iTunes and the coverflow though, the lyrics are essential when you wanna sing along with the music ![]()

Well, I didn’t say that iTunes is a piece of shit and WMP are rocks. There are pro and con on each of them. I’m just listing out the thing I find out. I’m not a hardcore fan of either operating systems.
iTunes U
Recently Apple iTunes came out another new feature, the iTunes U. iTunes U is a part of the iTunes Store featuring free lectures, language lessons, audiobooks, and more, that you can enjoy on your iPod, iPhone, Mac or PC. Explore over 50,000 educational audio and video files from top universities, museums and public media organizations from around the world.

My two cent:
I get to learn. Correct, I don’t have a TV over in my room. With this iTunes U, I get to download and listen to things like health, sciences, renaissance clothing etc. Now that iTunes have this, I don’t need to look into YouTube or anywhere else to download presentation ![]()
More Windows Application From Apple
I was looking for a AV chatting in between Windows and Apple, well, it’s because my girl friend are using Windows
To get to look at each other, we’ll have to either use Windows together or Apple. I’ve been trying to use iChat (GTalk) to video conference with her but it doesn’t work
Except to wait for the newer version of Mac:Messenger from Mactopia, which I presume it’s another long wait, this however makes me look into Apple application development.

First it was Apple QuickTime for Windows, but from my hearing, most people (Windows users)don’t like QuickTime, first, it works like a spam, turned on when Windows started without warning. Second, the resolution wasn’t as good as it promised (Which I don’t think so :P)
Second it was iTunes, with the combination of their iPod lines, iTunes was widely used by Windows users who owned an iPod
It was the hardwork of iPod though… It’s like TuitionWise student loans, without the tuition, there isn’t any loan, with loan there is interest to earn
Everything linked. Thirdly, happened recently, the Safari browser, the so-called fastest browser and crashed a lot on me
Now, when will iChat be available for Windows user? Better be fast before the newer version of MSN for Mac comes out and replace the opportunity of iChat to shine in Windows machine ![]()
