Well, there isn’t this click that let you set your desktop background (Wallpaper for Windows users) in Mac, you’ll need to go to the System Preferences and click on Desktop then click on the folder and look for your picture, what a hassle to do all this just to get to change your background isn’t it? Look at what I have…

By the way, I don’t need to open the picture too, all I need to do is just right-click (CTRL+Click) at the icon and I get to change it in no time. That’s the wonder of Automator! Today, I’m going to tell you how to do it in just a few steps
It’s very simple actually, open Automator and look into both of these:

Simple eh? Once you’re there, drag and drop the “Set the Desktop Picture” into another column:

You’re done, all you need is to save this file into a plug-in in order to let the Automator on your right-click (CTRL+Click) to work…

You can name the plug in to whatever you like, as long as you remember
Beside this, I find that bulk rename and bulk resize or simply resize one file can be useful for some people as well. Previously I use this little software name ExifRenamer to bulk rename all my pictures/videos files, as I thought there wasn’t any other thing that can bulk rename, until I found the power of Automator
The rest will be on next entry
Was looking around for Bootcamp, since Mac:Messenger can’t use video and audio conversation. But Bootcamp public beta has been discontinued due to the release of Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard. Sigh… It is really hard to look for one Bootcamp 1.4 Beta. Anyway, I found a website still providing Bootcamp 1.3 Beta…

Ok, just when I was about to be very confident with Mac OSX update, it bring me down to hell the next time I restarted my Macbook.

After the update, nothing significant changes I can see or feel beside the heat at first. But now, problems coming in. I have this sleeping and wake up problem with my Macbook. It doesn’t wake when I want it to, when it sleep more than 5 minutes, it sleep forever then
It just won’t wake up no matter how I make it, pressing keyboard, moving mouse, pressing the power button, it just show me blank screen with the little sleep indicator light on and flash slowly
No idea what happen, I have to press the power button for seconds and make it turn completely off and turn it back on.
I asked in Apple forum, so now I’ll have to wait and see…
Some people having trouble when updating Mac OSX, all this while I’ve been thinking, why the hell Apple update cause so many problem while Microsoft never had any problem on their update? Apple engineers aren’t that good in updating their software, but they are good in producing (From scratch) a software. Well, luck that I never had any problem on updating my Mac OSX
Just update for a few times, from 10.4.6 to 10.4.8 (I LOVE this version a lot!) and now 10.4.11 (More and more heat).
Many people having problem with Macbook lines though, from YouTube and weblogs, but Mac sell this year raise so much that it became a myth for me. And my guess is, people buy Macbook for its design and performance, then they installed Windows on it. Why not? All I have to do is use Bootcamp and partition (More spaces) for Windows instead, and target the startup dick to Windows, so everytime I startup my Macbook, it will straight go to Windows, with some hard disk upgrade, I don’t need to worry about Mac OSX itself.
