Seriously, I’ve made life easier, for everyone. But some people tend to make it hard.
Friend: Wong, how much you charge for a web site?
Me: For your client, it’s USDXX and USDXX is yours (commission) for you it’s USDXX.
Friend: Erm… This… Er…
Me: For client who is hearing this conversation, it cost USDXX.
Friend: How about if the client is very well with me?
Me: Same. As long as it is your client.
Friend: How about it’s my… Father?
Me: Hi uncle… Good day to you 
Ok, I shouldn’t give discount nor commission. But that’s how things work over here in this town. To build a bigger relationship, you need to let every become your salesmen, like constructing tiles, one by one, with the small population in this town, everyone soon will know who work on what field
The other day my mom asked me “What are you working for living?“, I tried to explain to her that I am working as a web designer. As a web designer, I work on a company’s web appearance and their online marketing strategy. She asked another questions “So you help them promo their website that you did for them?“. Well, that makes me wonder about what I really did. She thought I have diet pill that works, since I’m getting skinny and skinny. Well, I am working late night from time to time, but of course, it’s not the main reason I’m getting thin though.
Most of the time, I am enjoying myself editing those HTML and CSS, and create WordPress theme. But my passion doesn’t stop there though. I believe, as a web designer, some other knowledge is an added advantage. Especially when a web designer know how to market the web and has a specific strategy for it. Of course, it is easier to say than done.
My girlfriend and I has been developing WordPress theme for more than a year now. There are 2 types of questions on 2 types of person.
With WordPress experience
Their question will be “What can WordPress do beside as a blogging platform?“. Most blogger doesn’t know what WordPress can do. As for me, WordPress is the one and only CMS that can ease my life as a web designer. Not only it can work as a blog, it can also work as an e-Commerce, news portal, community interaction and whatnot. All you need is a little creative problem solving skills, and you’ll eventually get there. I did all those before for clients 
Those who have no experience as a webmaster or blogger
Their question is simple “What does web designer do?“. Most of the time, these people are those who don’t know what is browser yet. For them, web doesn’t need design, it needs structure, which is true. But I would add that the structure need to be beautify and well planned. That is what I do. I always title myself as a “Web architecture” instead. Not only it sound cool, it also explain most things I did

Yes, I just joined my girlfriend to the freelance world, and it is somehow tough for me at the moment, to change my lifestyle and all. However, I find it difficult to change a few thing though… And of course there are fun in the freelance world
The wearing
Normally I wear only a short pant at home, without top. And now, I’m working without my top. Strange but comfortable of course, at least I don’t need to listen to my boss nagging about I put off my shoes when I’m on my seat. It’s annoying…
More free time
Although I can’t say that my earning has been good, but it is enough for me to survive a month or two already. But I have all the free time on my hand. I don’t need to report anyone if I want to go outside and shop for my Logo usb drive in the afternoon, I can have my lunch for hours and etc
More stress
Normally happen only if we did not receive any job for a day or two. Well, it’s going to be over As long as motivation is there…. Erm…
Keep motivating myself for long run
I admit I hate to motivate myself, I rather keep myself on a situation where I am productive, which is not easy, especially now I’m at home working…
Anyway, will get more update once I have the time. It’s working hour for me now, and it is also about time for me to get off my desk and have a tea break
I changed the overall look again. It was like a few weeks ago I changed to the default kubrick WordPress theme as a point of return 
Actually I changed all my blog into the default WordPress theme, cause I am sickening by WordPress design and coding 
Anyway, I changed all my blog theme into this theme as well, I named it as my_default_theme. I am going to use this theme in all my blog (if any comes out later day). Well, don’t under estimate this theme because:
XHTML/CSS Strict
Everything hand coded, structured according to 950 grid system. Standard, I would say, because from the structure to the typeface has standardised according to the common standard online Well, I added some CSS3 radius border code, so it gets nasty
Clean and neat
Don’t you like to have some breath while reading blogs? I bet those who online read lots of blog as well. Black background white typeface is the worst and I would never even click into it, it hurt my eyes. Now here is one clean shit eh? 
Contrast designed
Black, grey, white and blue is all the colours here. Don’t need any extra, separate them easily with eyes. Works perfectly (to the disable) without CSS as well. Big and small typeface contrast as well, so now you can quickly get how to read from top to toe
P/S: Shit! This blog has turned into web developement blog!!! Need to stop writing about web and start back my gadget
